F. E. Crowe writes of batch III that it contains substantially a copy of the typescript of INSIGHT which eventually went to the printer. It was compiled from the final typescript sent to publisher through replacement of certain pages by others. The replaced pages can also be traced in the Batch. I am here listing them as they are wrapped.
The item is a single page, with 2 quotations from Aristotle in L's handwriting, one of them from memory (?), the other the text that appears on the title page of the published book.
The two quotations are:
